Estimates and Pricing
We provide free, no-obligation estimates for all roofing projects. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Pricing is based on the scope of work described in the estimate; any changes to the scope may result in adjusted pricing. We reserve the right to revise estimates if unforeseen conditions are discovered during the project.
Warranty
Hillsborough Roofing Pros offers a workmanship warranty on all labor for a period of 2 years from the date of completion. Manufacturer warranties on materials vary by product and are passed directly to the homeowner. To maintain warranty coverage, you must perform routine roof maintenance and promptly address any issues. Our warranty does not cover damage caused by natural disasters, improper maintenance, or unauthorized modifications.
Payment Terms
Payment is due as outlined in your contract. For most projects, we require a deposit of 30% of the total estimate before work begins. The remaining balance is due upon completion and your satisfaction with the work. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Financing options are available through approved lenders; please ask for details.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel a scheduled service within 3 business days of signing the contract without penalty. After that, cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start date may incur a fee of up to 10% of the estimate to cover materials and scheduling costs. All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or certified mail.
Liability Limitations
Hillsborough Roofing Pros shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to property damage from leaks, water intrusion, or acts of nature beyond our control. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We recommend that homeowners carry appropriate insurance for their property.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Somerset County, New Jersey. By using our services, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts.
