By accessing and using the Hillsborough Roofing Pros website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
Services Description
Hillsborough Roofing Pros provides residential and commercial roofing services including but not limited to: roof inspection, roof repair, roof replacement, metal roofing installation, gutter installation, skylight installation, emergency roof repair, and insurance claims management in the Metro Hillsborough, New Jersey area.
Free Inspection Policy
Our free 21-point roof inspection is provided at no cost and with no obligation to proceed with any repairs or insurance claim filing. The inspection results and documentation remain our intellectual property until an insurance claim is filed or a service agreement is executed. You are free to decline services after the inspection with no charges or penalties.
Insurance Claims Services
When you authorize us to file an insurance claim on your behalf, you grant us permission to communicate with your insurance carrier, provide documentation of damage, and advocate for appropriate claim settlement. We act as your contractor representative — not as your insurance agent or attorney. We do not guarantee any specific claim outcome, although our historical approval rate is 98%.
You remain responsible for your insurance deductible and any costs that exceed your insurance coverage. We will inform you of any anticipated out-of-pocket costs before beginning work.
Warranty Terms
All workmanship is covered by our 10-year labor warranty. Manufacturer material warranties are provided separately by the respective manufacturer (GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning, etc.) and are subject to their specific terms and conditions. Warranty registration is completed by Hillsborough Roofing Pros on your behalf upon project completion.
Warranties do not cover damage resulting from: Acts of God (tornado, hurricane, severe hail), unauthorized modifications to the roof system, failure to maintain proper attic ventilation, or damage caused by other contractors or trades working on the property.
Payment Terms
For insurance-covered work, payment is due upon receipt of insurance proceeds. We accept insurance checks assigned to Hillsborough Roofing Pros or direct payment from the homeowner upon insurance reimbursement. For non-insurance work, payment terms are established in the written service agreement and may include financing options.
Limitation of Liability
Hillsborough Roofing Pros's liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid for those services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. We are not responsible for insurance claim outcomes, as these are determined solely by your insurance carrier.
Licensing & Insurance
Hillsborough Roofing Pros is a licensed roofing contractor in the State of New Jersey (License #13VH12345609). We maintain comprehensive general liability insurance, workers' compensation insurance, and professional liability coverage. Certificates of insurance are available upon request.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Fulton County, New Jersey, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Both parties waive the right to a jury trial.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting to this website. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
